The sound installation A Testemunha
(The Witness), composed of tropical plants from Angola and sounds from the Latin American rainforest, recorded by Victor Gama, evokes both sides of the Black Atlantic where crimes against humanity were committed.

Creating a place for reflection, exchange and recognition that gives us the opportunity to reflect on a painful and violent past, while transporting us to the present moment, ex-
ploring in a playful way how much Africa has contributed not only to the world economy,
but also to world culture.

de plantas tropicais de Angola e sons da floresta tropical da América Latina, gravado por Victor Gama, evoca ambos lados do Atlântico Negro em que os crimes contra a humanidade foram cometidos.

mento que nos dá a oportunidade de reflectir sobre um passado doloroso e violento, ao mesmo tempo que nos transporta para o momento pre-
sente, explorando de uma forma lúdica o quanto África contribuiu não só para a economia mundial, mas também para a cultura mundial.
