The artist devised a circular system to numeri-
cally represent each independence date. On this drawing the indepependence date of Angola is mirrored and evokes wings for a brighter future.

As the struggle for freedom and independence was long and bloody, the colour palette of the drawings references dried blood at different stages. But also in all cultures, universal love is represented through grand myths, and in many of these myths, it is symbolised by the sacred image of blood.

de independência. Neste desenho, a data de independência de Angola é espelhada e evoca asas para um futuro mais brilhante.

Como a luta pela liberdade e independência
foi longa e sangrenta, a paleta de cores dos desenhos faz referência ao sangue seco em diferentes estágios. Também em todas as culturas, o Amor universal é representado através dos grandes mitos e, em muitos
desses mitos, é simbolizado pelo símbolo
sagrado do sangue.
